Fettuccine Alfredo

The name Alfredo comes from the restaurateur who named the pasta initially at his restaurant in Italy. The fettuccini Alfredo pasta is very popular in America and is often cooked with spices like garlic along with the cheese and cream. The sauce of the pasta is called the Alfredo sauce. The famous Italian-inspired creamy fettuccine dish is easy to make when you use cream cheese to enrich the sauce.

ingredients:
1.      250 g fettuccine (or any kind of pasta)
2.      2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
3.      Alfredo sauce with mushroom
4.      1/2 cup KDD Butter
5.      2 tablespoons flour
6.      4-5 fresh mushrooms, sliced
7.      1/2 cup KDD Milk
8.      1 cup KDD Thick Cream
9.      1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
10.  1/2 teaspoon salt
11.  White pepper
preparation:
1.      Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan, heat butter and flour, until light brown. Add mushrooms, KDD Thick Cream and KDD Milk; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
2.      Cook fettuccine, or pasta as directed on package. Drain and keep aside.
3.      Pour Alfredo sauce over fettuccine; toss until well coated. Sprinkle with parsley. Enjoy.
